Eva Outdoor Classroom

The students and teachers of Eva School grades k-8 will be constructing an outdoor classroom that will provide hands-on outdoor learning opportunities and allow students of all ages to utilize multiple-disciplinary skills.

Education Coordinator Project

This project provides a person to go on request to the various public, private and home school within Morgan County and present approved conservation education programs and materials.

Arboretum Installation

This project will design a outdoor teaching facility and plant various species of trees and shrubs to ensure our students will have a better understanding of Ecology, Forestry and Conservation.

Restoration for Flamingo Park

There is an increasing number of children, youth and adults who are physically inactive.  The project will offer a greater variety of programs that address play, creative expression and skill development.  Demonstrate leadership while working in partnership with others in environmental stewardship.  It will promote parks and natural areas as a shared responsibility and strenghten community partnerships.

Sparkman Drainage

This project is to remove water from grounds which is causing safety and health concerns.

Minor Home Repair

The request for home repairs and wheelchair ramps continue to increase among our elderly and home bound clients.  All CASA clients are 60 or older or wheelchair or bed bound.  Most of our clients are on a fixed income, leaving little money for home repairs.  The objective of our project is to provide materials and supplies to our dedicated volunteers so that they can perform the necessary tasks to our clients enabling them to remain independent in their homes

Outdoor Classroom - Courtyard Garden

The outdoor classroom project will provide a unique opportunity for current students to utilize their individual skills and knowledge in the design and construction of the classroom as well as utilizing it after construction.  Students will work as a team among individual classes at the Career Center.  Students will demonstrate design, masonry, electrical, concert forming, landscaping and welding skills in the construction of the courtyard.  in addition, the outdoor classroom will provide a future opportunity for learning that will enhance the real world work experience for v

Caddo East Lawrence Fire Station

Caddo  East Lawrence has experienced rapid growth in the last few years.  The schools are among the largest schools in the county, several sub-divisions have been developed and new businesses are locating in the community.  The existing Fire Station cannot adequately meet the expanded needs of the community.

Becoming the Best I can Become

This project addresses areas in our lives that hinder us from becoming all that we could be.  We will accomplish this though instruction of financial management, mock job interviews, classes on homeowner vs. rental, career choices and other educational choices we make to improve the quality of life and coping skills.

A Campus Garden

A tremendous need exists for your people to have greater insight into food production and to understand how mismanagement and depletion of natural resources can impact our food supply.  This project was deveoped to provide a garden on the premises of Section Highw School to teach students about food productiona dn the food supply while giving students hands-on experiences in producing some of their food.  A companion objective will be the teaching of soil conservation and environmental protection
